Commitment: 12 > 20 hours per month Shop Collections Co-ordinators - We are expanding our collection points network for shop donations across the whole of Oxfordshire and require reliable co-ordinators to monitor and maintain collections. You will be responsible for arranging collections from local compaines and monitoring the existing house to house street collections. Full backup and training will be provided as required. You will need to be organised and be able to spare a few hours per week to manage this important area of Branch revenue. If this sounds like a project you would like to be involved with please contact us now! Commitment: 4 > 10 hours per month Dog Fostering Co-ordinator - We currently have only 4 dog fosterers in Oxfordshire and are very keen to expand this service. Most dogs taken in by the Branch from the Inspectorate have to be kept at commercial kennels and obviously this costs a great deal of money, also most dogs would thrive far better in a home environment. The post would entail expanding our provision i.e. sourcing new dog fosterers and keeping in regular contact with our existing fosterers. You would also need to allocate dogs to fosterers as they came into the branch and assist with publicity to find the dogs a new and permanent home. Experience and a working knowledge of dogs would be desirable for this interesting and rewarding position. Full training will be provided. Commitment: 3 > 6 hours per month Home Visitor Co-ordinator - We need a volunteer to co-ordinate all home visits. You will be responsible for matching up visit requests from our Willow Farm operation, other RSPCA branches and Blackberry Farm RSPCA Centre with our current group of Home Visitors. You will manage the Oxfordshire area and expand the Group in areas where there is a requirement. You may also be required to assist in making some home visits and attend occasional meetings. Full training will be provided. You should be organised and a good communicator. Commitment: 4 > 6 hours per month Cat Fosterers - During the course of providing care for rescued animals, there are occasions when an animal's care needs would be best provided by foster care, rather than in our animal centre. These needs might include: animals with short or long term health problems; animals with intensive care needs; and animals with little chance of rehoming due to age or infirmity. Can you help RSPCA Oxfordshire by offering fostering care for rescued cats? Care and any necessary veterinary costs are met by the Branch, and you will be giving a deserving cat a quality of life which they will not enjoy while in a rescue centre. Commitment: as required
